Personal Data: Catherine Gilles was your average 13-year-old who happened to not be in the "in-crowd". Actually, her peers did not like her, at all. Or her family, especially her brother. One day after she had taken too much abuse to handle, she decided to take things out on the world. She created a cat suit out of the previous year's gymnastics costume and some extra materials. She uses only her inherited contortionism and her gymnastics and fighting ability to stay alive as she goes from crimefighter to villianess.
She can be spotted on the rooftops of Gotham at night, or in the newspapers for what she has done wrong, or occasionally right. Also, either Catherine or Catgirl is often seen with her boyfriend, the son of the Joker: Malcolm.
