A high-ranking member of the elite KISA Hunters Agency, Valentine is a unique individual within her world. She sports both the delicately furred, triangular ears and long lithe tail of a cat, as well as several other traits -- both physical and mental -- similar to a feline's. Sensitive hearing and keen eyesight, a love for fish and milk, quickness and agility, as well as her tendency to be distracted fairly easily are attributes generally thought to be part of those traits.

Of a slender build, she looks rather youthful and perhaps not even dangerous at all, but she can be an effective killer when she chooses. Long wavy reddish-brown hair reaches past her waist, and her hazel eyes alone tell the world there is something more to this girl. Her ears and tail are a darker brown in color; the contrast sometimes calls more attention to her than she would like. Ridicule is something she's experienced frequently, but those closest to her accept her for who she is.

Her origins are unknown; she was found by the main administrator of the Agency and taken in to be trained as a Hunter. Any memories of her previous life had long been wiped away, her entire past a mystery. Besides her unusual appearance, however, she possesses an incredible amount of luck and the ability to read certain ancient documents that cannot be deciphered by anyone else. Due to this, she is very useful within the Agency, whether for jobs requiring investigative work or more mundane archaeological assignments.

Although well-loved within the Agency, she does not think highly of herself and suffers from mild to severe depression. Her moods shift rapidly, but often she is friendly and open, quick to defend friends if needed. Like a cat, she can be very high-strung and at times violent, especially when provoked. Despite the fact that Robert rescued her, the two share a tense relationship; however, beneath the surface lies a mutual affection for the other.

Her rank within the Agency (an organization founded to search for love, fame, and fortune, usually while protecting the world in the process) is Second-Class, and her main weapon is the Catskill Pistol, a modified Desert Eagle. She dreams of someday becoming an angel and earning wings, but for now she is trying to be content with the possible love in her life, Jonathan Darkwind.
